בנועם קבלתי המכתב מד' ניסן עם המוסגר בו, וכבקשת כת"ר יזכירו את כל אלה שכותב אודותם על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע מתאים לתוכן כתבו, ויהי רצון שיבשר טוב בכל האמור.
כן בעתו קבלתי ידיעות משמחות מידידינו אנ"ש אשר במיאמי, ע"ד לימוד תניא ברבים בשיעור אשר נקבע שם, ובודאי קודם נסעו מינה מ"מ[2] בכדי לחזק הענין ובפרט שנצטווינו לא רק לחזק אלא גם להוסיף בעניני תורה ומצות, וכיון שאין הקב"ה בא בטרוניא עם בריותיו ונצטווינו לעשות, מכין ה' מראש את האפשרויות למלאות הציווי, ואין הדבר תלוי אלא בהמעורר וע"פ מה שכתבו לי משם ע"ד רושם לימוד התניא, תקותי באם יעמוד בקישור מכתבים עם העומדים בראש השיעור ומזמן לזמן יעוררם בחשיבות הענין ובנחיצות ההמשך בזה, בודאי שיצליח, וכבר הובטחנו דברים היוצאים מן הלב נכנסים אל הלב.
ולקראת חג המצות, זמן חירותנו, הבא עלינו ועל כל ישראל לטובה, הנני בזה להביע ברכתי לחג כשר ושמח ולחירות אמתית, חירות מדאגות בגשם ומדאגות ברוח, מכל דבר המעכב עבודת ה' בשמחה ובטוב לבב.
ולהמשיך מחירות ושמחה זו בימי כל השנה כולה.
ובפרט שעבודת השם, כמצווה עלינו בתורתנו תורת חיים, שהרי היא בכל עניני האדם ובמשך כל היום וכל הלילה, וכמו שנאמר בכל דרכיך דעהו.

I was pleased to receive your letter from the 4th of Nissan with its enclosure. As you requested, all those you wrote about will be mentioned at the holy resting place of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, of blessed memory, in accordance with your letter's content. May it be G‑d's will that you receive good news in all these matters.
I also received joyful reports from our friends, Anash in Miami, regarding public Tanya study in the class established there. Certainly, before leaving there, you made efforts to strengthen this matter—especially since we are commanded not only to strengthen but also to increase in Torah and mitzvos. Since the Holy One does not make unreasonable demands of His creations and has commanded us to act, He prepares in advance the means to fulfill His command. The matter depends only on the one who initiates it. Based on what they wrote me about the impact of Tanya study there, I hope that if you maintain correspondence with those leading the class and from time to time encourage them about its importance and necessity for continuity, you will surely succeed. We have already been taught: words that come from the heart enter the heart.
As we approach Pesach, the Festival of our Freedom—which is coming upon us and all Israel for good—I hereby express my blessing for a kosher and joyous holiday and for true freedom: freedom from material worries and spiritual concerns—from anything that hinders serving Hashem with joy and gladness of heart. May this freedom and joy continue throughout the entire year.
Especially since serving Hashem—as we are commanded in our Torah of life—applies to all aspects of a person’s life and throughout every day and night, as it is said: "Bechol derachecha da'eihu" (In all your ways know Him).
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that by strengthening Torah study—especially communal Tanya learning—and encouraging others with heartfelt words, we can serve Hashem with true joy. G‑d provides us with everything needed to fulfill His will; our task is to act with enthusiasm all year long.
