In response to the message conveyed by your husband, the Rav shlita, regarding your birthday: May it be G‑d's will that the coming year be one of peace for you—a good and successful year with visible and revealed good.

It is clear and self-evident that as one's trust in Hashem—the Creator and Guide of the world Who watches over each individual with Divine Providence—increases, so too does the flow of Hashem's blessings below; the measure of blessing and success grows. It is well known from our Torah, the Torah of Life, that a person must be joyful and glad-hearted. After all, all one's days and every hour and moment during these days are dedicated to serving the Creator—as it is written: "You shall serve Hashem with joy and gladness of heart." All the more so must this apply to a woman who is the mainstay of her home. It is evident that the atmosphere in the home depends on the woman's mood. Blessing rests only where there is joy. Since we are commanded regarding this matter, it is certainly possible to fulfill. Especially when you reflect even briefly, you will see Hashem's kindnesses to you and your husband in the past—and surely they will continue in the future as well. As mentioned above: The vessel to draw down blessing and receive it is strong trust and deep inner joy.

May it be G‑d's will that in this year Hashem fulfills all your heart's desires for good in health and children.
