After a long pause, your letter was received—without an indication of when it was written—along with the enclosed receipt you mentioned. May it be G‑d's will that for many more years you continue to increase in matters of Torah and my mitzvos, especially the mitzvah of tzedakah which is equivalent to all the mitzvos and even elevates all four (types) with it.

I was pleased to hear about the farbrengen on the bright day of Yud Tes Kislev. However, it is truly regrettable that there has not been an increase in the number of participants at these farbrengens. This day itself compels us to spread the wellsprings outward—even if one were to say that the number of Anash in your camp is currently small, this is only in quantity; it is obvious that outside there are still those who have not yet been reached. Since this is necessary, surely the possibility and ability have been given to bring this matter into action.
