I hereby acknowledge receipt of your letter from Monday, and certainly to your honor. However, it is superfluous to express thanks for your efforts and involvement in the matter of the mikveh taharah in the city of Toronto. May it be G‑d's will that this matter come to fruition as soon as possible and with the greatest possible beauty and care, as I wrote recently to someone else regarding this matter, based on what is explained in Igeres HaKodesh by our master the Alter Rebbe, section 21, about the great virtue of alacrity in all mitzvos—especially this particular mitzvah—which also contains an aspect of tzedakah and acts of kindness as explained there. It is well known how much our Sages extolled this matter even when it comes to advancing by a single day (Eruvin 63b), especially in our generation—the footsteps of Mashiach—when the end of our exile is drawing near (as is well known from the explanations of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal, many times), that purity brings about... Eliyahu HaNavi heralding our redemption. Through an awakening from below comes an awakening from Above in fulfilling the promise: "And I will take you... and I will sprinkle upon you pure waters... and you will dwell in your land... and you will be My people and I will be your G‑d."
