במענה על מכתבו מג' אלול בבשורה הטובה אשר מכתבי[2] ללוקחי חלק בלימוד תניא הק' קרא ופעל התעוררות גדולה והתחזקות.
ובודאי רשומו חזק גם לימים יבואו ובאופן הנדרש ע"י תורתנו תורת חיים להוסיף ולחזור ולהוסיף וכפסק הדין מעלין בקדש.
בודאי למותר לעוררו ע"ד תכנית מפורטת לנצול ימי חדש תשרי הבע"ל והימים שלפניהם שהם כמבואר בתורת החסידות אשר המלך נמצא בשדה ומקבל את כ"א בספ"י (לקו"ת דברים לב, ב) ולאחרי זה הימים דקירוב המאור אל הניצוץ, ויהי רצון אשר השי"ת יהי' עם פיהו ויצליח בכל האמור.
כבקשתו אזכירם, כאו"א להמצטרך להם, על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע ואת אביו אברהם בן ברכה לרפו"ק ולרפו"ש מתאים לתוכן כתבו, ויה"ר שיבשר טוב בכל האמור.
ולקראת השנה החדשה הבאה עלינו ועל כל ישראל לטובה ולברכה, הנני בזה להביע ברכתי לו ולכל אשר לו, ברכת כתיבה וחתימה טובה לשנה טובה ומתוקה בגשמיות וברוחניות.

במ"ש אשר האברך... רוצה לנסוע לכאן לאסוף כסף וכו' - אין ענין זה מדברים שבנקל כלל וכלל, בה בשעה שהוצאות הנסיעה ה"ז הוצאה ודאית נוסף על הענינים דביטול תורה ומצוה וכו' והעיקר עניני ביטוש וכו' הסובלים כל אלה המתעסקים במגביות וכו' ובפרט מי שלא הורגל בזה. ויהי רצון אשר השי"ת ינחהו את הנ"ל בדרך הטובה לפניו באמת.

In response to your letter from the 3rd of Elul with the good news that my letter to those participating in the Tanya study was read and had a great impact and strengthening. Surely its effect will be strong for days to come and in the manner required by our Torah of life—to add and repeat and add again, as ruled: one ascends in holiness.
Certainly it is unnecessary to remind you about a detailed plan to utilize the upcoming month of Tishrei and the days preceding it. As explained in Chassidus, during this time "the king is in the field and receives everyone graciously" (Likkutei Torah Devarim 32b), followed by days when the luminary draws close to the spark. May it be G‑d's will that He will be with your words and grant success in all mentioned above.
As you requested, I will mention them—each one for what they need—at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal. Also your father Avraham ben Bracha for a complete recovery of body and soul according to your letter's content. May you have only good news regarding all this.
As we approach the new year coming upon us and all Israel for good and blessing, I hereby express my blessing to you and all yours: may you be inscribed and sealed for a good and sweet year materially and spiritually.

P.S. Regarding what you wrote about the Avrech... wanting to travel here to collect money etc.—this matter is not at all simple or easy. The travel expenses are definite costs in addition to issues of neglecting Torah and mitzvah etc., especially matters of self-abasement etc., which affect all those involved in fundraising etc., particularly someone unaccustomed to this. May it be G‑d's will that He guide him on a truly good path before him.
