במענה על מכתבו בהנוגע ל"גן ישראל", נמסר הענין להם ויבואו עמו בקישור ישר.
לפלא שאינו מזכיר במכתבו אודות פעולותיו בהפצת המעינות חוצה, והרי זוהי דרישת וגם הכרח השעה, וכידוע אגרת הקדש של הבעש"ט בזה, אשר כיון שנתפרסמה והגיעו דברי האגרת אליו בודאי שזהו הוראה לכל אלו שנודעו אודותה, וכידוע פתגם הבעש"ט ששמענוהו כ"פ מכ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, שכל דבר שאיש הישראלי רואה או שומע יש בזה הוראה בשבילו בעבודת השי"ת, ובאמת בהתבוננות גם קלה מובן שזהו חלק מצות האמונה שאין דבר במקרה, ובצירוף הודעת המשנה אני נבראתי לשמש את קוני. מובן ג"כ שאין עיקר כוונתי להודיע לכאן אודות פעולות האמורות כ"א התעוררות בנחיצות והכרח פעולות אלו, ונשען על מרז"ל אין מזרזין אלא למזורזין.

In response to your letter regarding 'Gan Yisrael,' the matter has been conveyed to them and they will be in direct contact with you.
It is surprising that you do not mention in your letter anything about your activities in spreading the wellsprings outward, which is both a demand and a necessity of the time. As is known from the holy letter of the Baal Shem Tov on this subject, since it has been publicized and its words have reached you, it is certainly an instruction for all those who have become aware of it. It is also known from the saying of the Baal Shem Tov, which we have heard many times from my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe—may his merit protect us—that everything a Jewish person sees or hears contains a lesson for him in his service of Hashem. In truth, even a brief contemplation makes it clear that this is part of the mitzvah of faith—that nothing happens by chance—together with what is stated in the Mishnah: 'I was created to serve my Creator.'
It is also understood that my main intention is not merely to be informed here about these activities but rather to arouse you to their necessity and urgency, relying on our Sages' statement: 'We only urge those who are already diligent.'
With blessing for good news in all the above.
