במענה על שני מכתבי' מי"א סיון והקודמו עם המוסגר בהם שמצורפות בזה הקבלות.
ויהי רצון אשר רבות בשנים יוכלו היא ובעלה הרב[2] שליט"א להרבות בצדקה הלוך ומוסיף בצדקה כפשוטו ובצדקה רוחנית, זאת אומרת השפעה בסביבתם לקרבם לתורה ולמצותי' מתאים לדרישת וגם הכרח השעה ובודאי אשר נותן התורה והמצוה שמדתו כנגד מדה אלא שכמה פעמים ככה, ירבה בברכתו בהמצטרך להם ולכל בני ביתם שיחיו בכל הפרטים.
כיון שהיתה בעת ההתועדות דזמן מתן תורתנו, תקותי שהשיחה בהנוגע לזכותן ואחריותן של נשי חב"ד שמעה בשימת לב הדרושה, ותביא להוספה במעשה וכדבר משנה, המעשה הוא העיקר.

In response to your two letters from the 11th of Sivan and the previous one, with their enclosures which are attached herewith.
May it be Hashem's will that for many years you and your husband, the Rav (may he be well), will be able to increase in charity—both literally giving charity and in spiritual charity; that is, influencing those around you to draw them closer to Torah and its mitzvos. This is in accordance with what is required and also necessary at this time. Surely, the Giver of the Torah and mitzvah—whose measure is measure for measure but multiplied many times over—will increase His blessings for all your needs and those of your entire household in every detail.
Since this was during the farbrengen at the time of Matan Toraseinu (the Giving of Our Torah), I hope that you listened with proper attention to the talk regarding the merit and responsibility of Nshei Chabad. This should lead to an increase in action—as our Sages say: "Action is the main thing."
