שוב לאחרי הפסק ארוך - נתקבל מכתבו מכ' אייר עם הפ"נ המוסגר בו, שיקרא בעת רצון על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, וגם בו אינו כותב דבר אודות עבודתו בקדש וכן מעניני הפצת המעינות, כי אם אך ורק ע"ד עניניו הפרטים החומרים. ואף שמובן שענינים אלו עלולים לבלבל ולהטריד את האדם, בכל זה, על כל פנים במקצת, צריך להיות מוח שליט על הלב עכ"פ להניח מקום פנוי להודעה ע"ד הפצת המעינות ביחוד והפצת היהדות בכלל. ויהי רצון שעכ"פ בעתיד ינהג במנהג טוב זה, ותקוים בו הבטחת חז"ל המקיים את התורה (וכל עניני יהדות) מעוני (עוני בגשם, או עוני ברוחני) סופו לקיימה מעושר (הן בגשמיות והן ברוחניות). מובן שאין כוונתי להטפת מוסר, אלא לעוררו לעבודת השם בשמחה וטוב לבב - שמקדימין בזה על ידי הנהגה כהאמורה.
במ"ש אודות ענין הדירה - נכון במאד מה שמחליף דירתו לטובה הימנה. ובמ"ש אודות הקישוים שפוגש במסירת דירתו לזה שרוצה לשלם בעדה מחיר מלא. - יציע עוד הפעם את הענין לפני ועד הכפר בצירוף הטעמים והנמוקים שכותב אלי. ואם בכל זה לא ירצו לעשותו יוצא מן הכלל בכדי שלא לפרוץ גדר, יראה מכתבי זה להרה"ח כו' הר"א שי' פאריז ויתן לו גמ"ח של ק"ן לא"י, בתשלומין של חמשה לירה לחדש. והעיקר אשר יעתיקו דירתם לבית החדש ויהי' זה בשעה טובה ומוצלחת.

Once again, after a long break—your letter from the 20th of Iyar was received with the enclosed pan (petition), which will be read at an auspicious time at the holy resting place of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzukal-lah heh nabgam ziya. Yet even in this letter you do not write anything about your holy work or about spreading the wellsprings; rather, you only mention your personal material matters.
Although it is understood that these matters can confuse and trouble a person, nevertheless, at least to some extent, one's mind must rule over one's heart—to leave some space to report about spreading the wellsprings in particular and spreading Judaism in general.
May it be G‑d's will that at least in the future you will follow this good practice, and you will fulfill the assurance of our Sages: "Whoever upholds the Torah (and all matters of Judaism) in poverty (whether material or spiritual poverty) will ultimately uphold it in wealth (both materially and spiritually)." Of course, my intention is not to preach morals but to arouse you to serve Hashem with joy and gladness of heart—which is advanced by such conduct as described above.
Regarding what you wrote about your residence—it is certainly very appropriate that you are moving to a better dwelling. As for the difficulties you encounter in transferring your current residence to someone who wishes to pay full price—present the matter again before the village committee along with the reasons and explanations you wrote to me. If even then they do not wish to make an exception so as not to breach regulations, show this letter to Haraha"ch etc. Harav A. Paris and he will grant him a gemach of 150 lira for Eretz Yisrael, payable in installments of five lira per month. The main thing is that you should move into your new home at an auspicious and successful time.
