Shalom u'Vrachah!

After a break, your letter from the 20th of Iyar was received, in which you write about the learning arrangements for this summer and about the increase in the number of students, may they live. Surely your intention is that this is an addition to the students from previous times who all continue their learning in holiness; nevertheless, this increase is still distressingly small, especially considering the current needs and urgency.

It is understood that you acted correctly in permitting the students to travel to Meron on the bright day of Lag BaOmer, for several reasons. Also regarding such matters it is said: "Et La'asot LaHashem..." (A time to act for Hashem...).

Certainly it goes without saying to remind you to keep in contact with those new people you met while in Meron and whom you inspired toward mitzvos. For all such cases require reinforcement from time to time—at least by letter if meeting face-to-face is not possible—and this is self-understood.

And it is understood that this applies to all those engaged in spreading the wellsprings and generally in matters of Judaism.
