און בעת רצון וועל איך מזכיר זיין אייך אויף דעם ציון הק' פון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע צום געזונט בעסערונג, און בפרט אז איר האט זוכה געווען צו לערנען אין דער ישיבה תומכי תמימים, וואס קיין זאך גייט דאך ניט פארלארען אפילו פון ענינים גשמים ועל אחת כמה וכמה ענינים רוחנים, וביחוד אז רבותינו נשיאנו הקדושים זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע האבען אינוועסטעט אזויפיל כחות אין דער ישיבה.
איז דאך זיכער אז אויך איצטער זיינען זיי מעורר רחמים רבים אויף יעדען איינעם פון די תלמידים אין דעם וואס זיי נויטיגען זיך, און בפרט אין געזונט בגשמיות און אין געזונט ברוחניות, ווי עס איז באוואוסט דער מאמר רבותינו זכרונם לברכה, אז די רמ"ח אברים פון דעם מענשן זיינען געגען די רמ"ח מצות עשה און די שס"ה גידים זיינען געגען די שס"ה מצות לא תעשה, און זייענדיק אליין א דאקטאר, איז זיכער איבעריג צו באטאנען, אז אויב אפילו א אבר איז אמאל ניט ווי עס באדארף זיין, דארפמען ניט מיד ווערען צו היילען עם, על אחת כמה וכמה אז עס איז אזוי ברוחניות, מיט דעם צוגאב, ווי דער אלטער רבי שרייבט, אז עס זיינען פראן ניט געזונט זאכען בגשמיות צו וועלכע עס העלפט ניט קיין רפואה, אבער אין רוחניות איז ניטא אזא זאך וואס רפואת הנפש זאל דאס ניט קענען אויסהיילען, ביז עס קאן אויך פארריכט ווערען אויף אזא אופן, פונקט ווי עס וואלט קיינמאל קיין מיחוש (אפשוואכונג) ניט געווען, ואין לך דבר העומד בפני הרצון (קיין זאך קען ניט צוריקהאלטען דעם ווילען) ואין לך דבר העומד בפני התשובה (און קיין זאך קען ניט זיין א אפהאלט אויף דעם צוריקקערן זיך).
איך בין זיכער אז עס איז איבעריג צו מאריך זיין אין דאס אויבען געזאגטע, נאר צוגעבען א נקודה (פאינט) וואס זיכער אויך דאס איז אייך באוואוסט, און דאס איז די באטאנונג פון תורת החסידות פון בעל שם טוב ורבותינו הקדושים דחב"ד אז אין אלע ענינים פון דעם מענשן, דארף זיין דער עבדו את ה' בשמחה, און אז מען איז בשמחה וואס השם יתברך גיט די מעגליכקייט צו דינען עם, זעהט מען הצלחה אין אלע ענינים סיי בגשמיות און סיי ברוחניות.
אין ערווארטונג פון גוטע בשורות אין דאס אלץ אויבען געזאגטע, און מיטן וואונש צו דער דערנעהנטערונג פון חג השבועות, בתוך כלל ישראל צו מקבל זיין די תורה לויטן אויסשפראך און ברכה פון מיין שווער כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר לקבלת התורה בשמחה ובפנימיות.

I received regards about you through vavac"h iy"a nu"n student of Tomchei Temimim Chanokh Hendel Lieberman and also through vavac"h iy"a nu"n one involved with tzt"z Rav Pe'alim Avraham Dov Kremer, who also told me about your health condition.
At an auspicious time I will mention you at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzukal l'havdil ben chayim mezal ziya, for an improvement in health. Especially since you merited to study at the Yeshivah Tomchei Temimim—nothing is ever lost there, not even material matters; all the more so spiritual matters. Particularly since our holy Rebbeim invested so much energy into this Yeshivah.
It is certain that even now they arouse great mercy for each student in whatever they need—especially for physical and spiritual health. As is well known from our Sages: the 248 limbs correspond to the 248 positive mitzvos and the 365 sinews correspond to the 365 prohibitions. And since you are yourself a doctor, it is hardly necessary to stress that if even one limb is not as it should be, one must not delay healing it; all the more so spiritually.
Additionally, as the Alter Rebbe writes: there are physical ailments for which no medicine helps—but in spiritual matters there is nothing that healing of the soul cannot repair—even to such an extent that it can be as if there was never any weakness at all. Ve'ein lecha davar ha'omed bifnei haratzon (nothing can stand before willpower), and ve'ein lecha davar ha'omed bifnei hateshuvah (nothing can prevent repentance).
I am sure it is unnecessary to elaborate further on what was said above—just to add a point which you surely also know: Chassidus from the Baal Shem Tov and our holy Rebbeim of Chabad emphasizes that in all aspects of a person’s life there must be 'serve Hashem with joy.' When one serves with joy because Hashem gives him the opportunity to serve Him, he sees success in all areas—both material and spiritual.
Awaiting good news regarding all of the above—and with wishes for approaching Shavuos together with all Israel to receive the Torah according to the expression and blessing of my father-in-law: 'to receive the Torah with joy and inwardness.'

Summary
The Rebbe teaches that both physical and spiritual healing are possible through willpower, teshuvah, and serving Hashem with joy. Joyful service brings success in all areas of life; nothing stands in the way of sincere desire or return.
