במענה על מכתבו ממוצש"ק, נעם לי לקרות בו אשר למרות שרבו טרדותיו בעניני פרנסה ורבו שעות עבודתו בזה, בכל זה קבל על עצמו - בלי נדר - להשתתף בלימוד ברבים בנגלה ובחסידות, ובודאי שזהו נוסף על שלשת השיעורים הידועים בחומש תהלים ותניא, ובפרט שהרי יכול לקיימם בעת נסיעתו למקום עבודתו וחזרה.
ויהי רצון מבורא עולם ומנהיגו, אשר יקל עליו עניני הפרנסה באופן אשר החלטתו עתה תבוא לפועל מבלי קישוים וינצל הציווי שצ"ל עמל תורה ויגעת ומצאת דוקא בהוספה על החלטות הנ"ל, וכבר נודעה הבטחת תורתנו כל המוסיף מוסיפין לו, ויה"ר שיבשר טוב בהנ"ל, וכן בהנוגע ליציאתם של בני המשפחה שלהם מן המיצר אל המרחב בחסד וברחמים.

In response to your letter from Motzaei Shabbat Kodesh, I was pleased to read that despite your many preoccupations with earning a livelihood and the many hours you dedicate to this work, you have nevertheless undertaken—without a vow—to participate in public study sessions in both Nigleh and Chassidus. Certainly, this is in addition to the three well-known daily lessons in Chumash, Tehillim, and Tanya, especially since you can fulfill them during your commute to and from work.
May it be the will of the Creator and Leader of the world that He ease your livelihood matters so that your current resolution will be carried out without difficulties. May you merit the commandment that there must be toil in Torah—'You have labored and found'—specifically by adding to these resolutions. It is already known from our Torah's assurance: 'Whoever adds, they add for him.' May you share good news regarding all of the above, as well as concerning your family's emergence from distress into relief with kindness and mercy.
