I read with great interest what you wrote regarding the state of the community and public matters in our camp, and I am certain you will take an active role in strengthening and spreading Judaism and in related matters. It is self-understood and obvious—especially as explained in Iggeres HaKodesh and elsewhere—that this is accomplished through Ahavas Yisrael (love for a fellow Jew) and drawing hearts closer to our Father in Heaven. It is well known the saying of my father-in-law, the Rebbe: every individual is a multitude—especially Anash (our people), who have received the blessing from our holy Nasi. As ruled by the Heavenly Beis Din: in every matter of Torah, fear of Heaven, and good character traits, the hand of those connected to him and who follow his path will prevail (printed in Sefer Kitzuim VeHe'aros LeTanya p. 122).
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that each person’s involvement in communal Jewish life has far-reaching impact. Through Ahavas Yisrael and unity, especially among those connected to the Rebbe’s path, one brings blessing and strengthens Judaism for all.
