I acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 15th of Sivan, as well as the newspaper in two copies. While leafing through it I saw that it mentions a place for the Congress of Communities of D..., and as stated in the announcement they will also discuss questions relating to Torah and mitzvos, Judaism in general. It would have been appropriate to be informed with details about the discussions and especially about the decisions made. It is surprising that you did not mention this in your letter—perhaps you were unaware. Even if one would say that this only concerns natives of the country, they too are included in the matter that all Jews are responsible for one another...

Regarding what you wrote about activities among women—that there is no benefit for matters of Judaism etc.—it is already known that "for any group of ten, the Shechinah dwells," even if they are not engaged in Torah or mitzvos matters. It is explained that when the Shechinah dwells one cannot say there is no benefit for matters of Judaism—obviously if one tries to utilize this opportunity. From this it is understood that efforts should be made to take advantage of this matter even though until now they did not want to do so.

By the way, it is surprising that in your article published in the aforementioned newspaper it concludes regarding "the entire Jewish people and the State of Israel," even though throughout the article there is no mention at all about this topic.

I also saw the announcement about opening the Talmud Torah for summer with its start on May 25th. Surely you will inform me about what happens regarding an increase in the number of students (male and female), and may it be G‑d's will that you continue to strive further so that there will be even more increase in all these matters.
