... ג) סיפרתי פעם לכ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר, אשר פב"פ ראה אותי מפריש לצדקה - מפני סיבה - בלילה, והביע תמהתו הכי גדולה על עשותי כך, כיון שבכתבי האריז"ל כתוב אחרת. ויענני כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר - שבטח אותו שתמה תמי' גדולה כ"כ, איננו נותן לצדקה גם ביום.
ד) בודאי נודע תוכן המברק שלי בהנוגע לסדרי חג השבועות בכפר חב"ד, והדגשתי שם בדיוק - נוסף על תושבי הכפר - תלמידי תו"ת בלוד ואנ"ש, ומטובם להודיעני מי ומי מאנ"ש בא לחג השבועות בכפר חב"ד מתאים להאמור.
ויהי רצון שזכות מייסד כפר חב"ד ומנהלו, הוא כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר, אשר ימי סגולה הם ימים אלו, יעמוד לכאו"א השייכים אליו ומשתדלים להחזקת מפעליו - להמצטרך לו ולבני ביתו שיחיו בגשמיות וברוחניות.

3) I once told my father-in-law, the Rebbe, that someone saw me separating money for tzedakah—due to a certain reason—at night, and he expressed his great astonishment at my doing so, since the writings of the Arizal state otherwise. My father-in-law, the Rebbe, answered me: He is certainly someone who is so astonished because he does not give tzedakah even during the day.
4) Surely you have heard the content of my telegram regarding the arrangements for Shavuos in Kfar Chabad. I emphasized there precisely—in addition to the residents of the village—the students of Tomchei Temimim in Lod and Anash. Please inform me who among Anash came to celebrate Shavuos in Kfar Chabad as mentioned above. May it be G‑d's will that the merit of the founder and director of Kfar Chabad—my father-in-law, the Rebbe—whose auspicious days these are, stand by each and every one connected to him and striving to support his institutions—for all they need for themselves and their families both materially and spiritually.
