נאך דעם ליינגערן איבעררייס בין איך געווען צופרידען צו באקומען אייער אייגענהאנדיגען בריף, פון וועלכן איך נעם אן אז אלץ איז בא אייך בסדר ובשלום, און לויטן אינהאלט פון אייער בריף זעהט אויס אז איר זייט קובע עתים לתורה יעדער טאג, און איך האף אויך - חאטש איר דערמאנט ניט - אז איר באטייליגט זיך אויך אין די התועדות פארבריינגען פון אנ"ש וועלכע זיינען בשכנות מיט אייך, און ווי עס איז באוואוסט דער ווארט פון רבנו הזקן, אז דאס וואס א חסידישער פארבריינגען קען אויפטאן קען מלאך מיכאל ניט אויפטאן.
בנוגע אייער פראגע וועגען די צייטען פון זאגען תהלים, איז לויט ווי איך האב געהערט פון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, איז א חוץ ראש השנה און יום כפורים, איז באנאכט זאגט מען תהלים נאך האלבע נאכט און ניט פריער.
אין אייער צווייטער פראגע, צי זאלט איר אויפגעבען א טייל פון אייערע שעורים וואס איר האט אום צו זאגען דעם גאנצען תהלים עטליכע מאל אין טאג, - לויט מיין מיינונג, מקומך על תנח, ד.ה. איר דארפט אנהאלטען די שיעורים אייערע, און אין איינקלאנג מיט אייער גוטער הארץ פארלאנגט צו מוסיף זיין אין זאגן תהלים - זאלט איר אויסער דעם זאגען תהלים פארן דאוונען, אויך נאכן דאוונען זאגען דעם שיעור תהלים - ווי דער תהלים איז פארטיילט אויף די טעג פון חדש - און אויך האבען א קביעות צו לערנען תורת החסידות יעדער טאג, און אויך לערנען יעדער טאג א פרשה חומש מיט פירוש רש"י פון דער סדרה פון דער וואך, (זונטאג פון אנהויב סדרה ביז פרשת שני, מאנטאג פון פרשת שני ביז שלישי א.א.וו;) און השם יתברך זאל געבען אייך און אייער פרוי שיחיו אריכות ימים ושנים טובות און צו קענען אנזאגען גוטע בשורות תמיד כל הימים.

In response to your letter from the eve of the time of the Giving of Our Torah. After my longer trip I was pleased to receive your handwritten letter, from which I gather that everything is in order and at peace with you. According to the content of your letter it appears that you set aside fixed times for Torah study every day, and I also hope—although you did not mention it—that you also participate in the farbrengens of Anash that are near you. As is well known, the saying of Rabbeinu HaZaken is that what a chassidic farbrengen can accomplish even the angel Michael cannot accomplish.
Regarding your question about the times for saying Tehillim: as I have heard from my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal (may his merit protect us), except for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, at night one should say Tehillim only after midnight and not earlier.
To your second question—whether you should give up some of your study sessions in order to say all of Tehillim several times a day—in my opinion: "Mekomcha al tanach," i.e., you should maintain your regular study sessions. In accordance with your good-hearted desire to increase in saying Tehillim—you should additionally say Tehillim before davening; also after davening say the daily portion of Tehillim (as it is divided by days of the month); and also have a fixed time to learn Chassidus every day; and also learn each day a section of Chumash with Rashi's commentary from that week's parsha (Sunday from the beginning of the parsha until Sheini; Monday from Sheini until Shlishi; etc.).
May Hashem Yisbarach grant you and your wife long life and good years, so that you may always share good news all your days.
