נעם לי לקבל הידיעה אשר הוטב מצב בריאותו והולך וטוב, ובודאי יקוים בו מאמר רז"ל (ב"ב יב, ב) שכל שמטיבין לו הרי זה לאורך ימים ושנים טובות, ובודאי למותר לעוררו עוד הפעם שכיון שראו הנהגת השי"ת בטוב הנראה והנגלה עד עתה, בודאי לא יתרגש (ניט אויפרעגען זיך) מהעלמות והסתרים שישנם לפי שעה בעניני המסחר, דאין זה אלא לשעה קלה. והטעם על זה, הרי אמרו רז"ל בהדי כבשי דרחמנא למה לך. ואפשר שהכוונה בזה כדי שישלח מברק שעלה ברצונו וחפצו הטוב ליתן סכום גדול על דעתי, ובכגון דא טוב יותר לקבוע הסכום, בכדי שלא יהי' ספק לשני הצדדים, כי הרי אפשר שככל שירבה ליתן יאמרו שאין זה סכום גדול בערכו, ובענינים של צדקה יש להזהר ככל האפשרי ולא לומר גדול סתם, בטח יפרש ויפרט בהזדמנות הקרובה.
בודאי שומר הוראות הרופאים ככל שיאמרו אליו, ואמרה תורתנו הק' תורת חיים שהיא נותנת רשות (שפירושו גם כן כח) לרופא לרפאות.

I was pleased to receive the news that your health has improved and continues to get better. Surely the saying of our Sages (Bava Basra 12b) will be fulfilled for you: 'Whoever is treated well, it is for long and good years.' Certainly, it is unnecessary to remind you again that since you have seen the conduct of Hashem in revealed and apparent goodness until now, you should not be disturbed (nit oifregen zich) by the temporary concealments and obstacles in business matters; this is only for a short time. The reason for this is as our Sages said: 'Why do you need to know the secrets of the Merciful One?' (behedi kavshei d'Rachmana lama lach).
It is possible that the intention here is so that you will send a telegram expressing your good will and desire to give a large sum according to my opinion. In such cases, it is better to specify the amount so there will be no doubt on either side. For if you give more, they might say it is not a large sum relative to its value. In matters of charity one must be as careful as possible and not just say 'large' in general terms; surely you will clarify and specify at the next opportunity.
Certainly you are following all the doctors' instructions as they tell you. Our holy Torah, the Torah of Life, says that it gives permission (which also means strength) to a doctor to heal.

Please kindly pass it on to your wife sheyichyeh and also your daughter sheyichyeh with proper explanation so they may act accordingly as written. This mitzvah mission will add in Hashem's blessing for your complete recovery soon and for good news in all mentioned above.
