במענה על מכתבו מי"ד אדר (שנתאחר דרך הילוכו). כבקשתו יזכירו את כל אלה שכותב אודותם על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, ובפרט את בנו ... שליט"א לזיווג טוב לפניו בגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד בקרוב, ובודאי יתעסק בזה גם בדרך הטבע שאז משפיע השי"ת הצלחה למעלה מדרך הטבע.
ומהנכון שהנ"ל יקבע לו שיעור בכל יום בלימוד פנימיות התורה נשמתא דאורייתא המוסיפה חיות בכל עניני האדם וגם בתורה ומצות בכלל שמסוגל לימוד זה למעט ההעלמות וההסתרים כמובן ממאמר רעיא מהימנא הידוע וביאורו ע"י רבנו הזקן בעל התניא והשו"ע באגה"ק סי' כ"ו. ומה טוב כיון שמחובת האב הוא גם להשיא את בנו אשה, שגם הוא - האב - יקבע שיעור לימוד זה.
וכבר ידוע אשר קביעות בכגון דא ענינו קביעות בזמן וקביעות בנפש.

In response to your letter from the 14th of Adar (which was delayed in its arrival).
As you requested, all those you wrote about will be mentioned at the holy resting place of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal, especially your son ... shlita for a good match before him in both material and spiritual matters soon. Certainly, you should also engage in this matter through natural means, for then Hashem grants success beyond the natural order.
It is proper that he establish a daily lesson in the study of the inner dimension of Torah—the soul of Torah—which adds vitality to all aspects of a person's life and to Torah and mitzvos in general. This study is effective in lessening concealments and obstacles, as is clear from the well-known discourse Ra'aya Meheimna and its explanation by our master, the Alter Rebbe, author of Tanya and Shulchan Aruch, in Iggeres HaKodesh section 26.
And it is good—since it is an obligation upon a father to marry off his son—that you, too (the father), establish such a lesson. It is already known that establishing such a practice means consistency in time and consistency within one's soul.
