b) It is surprising, for in previous years requests were made here for assistance for several residents of the village (from the Ezras Torah society), and they wanted efforts made by the secretariat in this regard. And it is understood that since the funds in that account are limited, whoever comes first is praised, and until now no information has been received about this. May it be fulfilled for everyone according to the well-known prayer text: that Your people Israel should not need one another or another nation for sustenance.

c) Many thanks to all those who worked for the success of the gathering of girl students from Lubavitch network schools on the yahrzeit of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal nishmaso Eden (may his merit protect us), and may they continue such efforts in connection with upcoming days and festivals suitable for gatherings and similar activities.

d) On the other hand, I was shocked ^[1], and I protest here with full force against the strange conduct of not allowing gatherings of these schoolgirls in the synagogue—even when it is not during prayer time—which has no sense or foundation. It is astonishing that the village committee permitted this. Surely in future they will carefully consider the saying of the Baal Shem Tov which we heard many times from my revered father-in-law, that Hashem loves every single Jew incomparably more than parents love their only child born to them in their old age—and this should be understood well.

I have also written on this matter to Haraha"g Mara D'atra... Surely they will utilize the upcoming days of Purim appropriately for Kfar Chabad. May Hashem grant you success.
