Shalom u'Vrachah!
In response to your letter from the 26th of Kislev with its enclosure. It is surprising that in all your letters you do not mention anything about your good activities—yours and your wife's—regarding Chassidus, its guidance and customs. My intention is literal: your participation in public classes in Niglah (revealed Torah) and Chassidus, your involvement in Chabad activities in a fitting manner, efforts to spread the wellsprings outward, etc.
The mitzvah of Ve'ahavta L'Rei'acha Kamocha (love your fellow as yourself), giving tzedakah—including spiritual tzedakah—applies also to you and your wife. After all explanations that there is no place or possibility [to do so], there is nothing that stands before willpower.
Especially when you reflect on our Sages' saying: "More than what... the poor person (who receives spiritual tzedakah) does for the homeowner," meaning all of the above is for your benefit both materially and spiritually.
May it be G‑d's will that at least from now on you begin to take an interest in what was mentioned above. Especially since I have spoken with you and your wife personally several times about this. If you begin now to reflect on it, over time it will lead to good actions. May it be soon.
Enclosed is a kuntres for Yud-Tes Kislev; surely you will merit to share its content with many, as the merit of the many depends on you.
Blessings for the fulfillment of your heart's wishes—and those of your wife—for good very soon.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that active participation in learning and spreading Chassidus benefits both oneself and others spiritually and materially. No obstacle can stand before true willpower; by engaging now, one brings blessing upon themselves and their family.
