במענה על מכתבו, בו שואל פירוש הלשון קבלת התורה בשמחה ובפנימיות, אם הכוונה לפנימיות התורה או לפנימיות הלומד.
והנה פשיטא שכמו שהמלה בשמחה פירושה שהלומד ילמוד בשמחה ה"ה[3] בהנוגע להמלה ובפנימיות שהכוונה שהלומד יקלוט זה בפנימיותו.
מ"ש אודות טעות הדפוס בספר התניא, הנה איני יודע באיזה מהוצאה לומד, ובכל אופן כמה מטעותי הדפוס נתקנו בדפוסי התניא שמשנת תר"ס ואילך ועוד כמה נתקנו בהוצאת התניא כאן (נשלחו בכמות גדולה גם לאה"ק ת"ו[4]).
בהנוגע לפירוש במה שמתקשה לפעמים בלימוד התניא, הרי כמה מאנ"ש[5] והתמימים נמצאים בירושת"ו[6], ויציע הדברים לפניהם ודבור יחד יאיר הענינים.

In reply to your letter, in which you ask the meaning of the expression "receiving the Torah with joy and with inwardness": whether it means the inner dimension of the Torah, or the inwardness of the one who learns.
Now, it is obvious that just as the words "with joy" mean that the learner should learn with joy, so too with regard to the words "and with inwardness": the meaning is that the learner should absorb it inwardly.
As for what you write about a printing error in the Tanya: I do not know which edition you study from. In any case, a number of the printing errors were corrected in the editions of the Tanya from the year 5660 onward, and several more were corrected in the edition of the Tanya published here (large quantities of which were sent to the Holy Land, may it be built and established, as well).
Regarding an explanation of what you sometimes find difficult in studying the Tanya: a number of Anash and Temimim are in Jerusalem, may it be built and established. Put the matters before them, and speaking together will shed light on them.
