In response to your letter from the third day of Chanukah, in which you struggle with the matter of the snake—what was its place in Gan Eden—and also with the explanations of our Sages on this in Sanhedrin 59b, etc.
These matters are explained in many places and are also alluded to in Nigleh, as our Sages say in Yoma 69b: "They sought a fresh egg for a sick person throughout all Eretz Yisrael and could not find one... the world was destroyed...", and see also Shnei Luchot HaBrit in the introduction (19b).
