בודאי למותר לעוררם ע"ד תכנית מיוחדת לימי החופש שההכרח להכינה בעוד מועד, וכפתגם כ"ק רבוה"ק, אז ווי מען שטעלט זיך אוועק אזוי גייט דאס, וה"ה להנהגה דימי החופש, ובכפר חב"ד מכמה טעמים נכון לסדר שחופש יתבטא רק במיעוט ומינימלי של הלימודים, ותו לא, וכמנהג ישראל מאז ומקדם, ואם בכל הערים ובכל המושבות היתה הנהגה כזו כדאית, עאכו"כ במושב אנ"ש.

I was pleased that you accepted additional students from the Reshet schools, and surely you will continue this effort with even greater strength in the future. It would be proper to establish a permanent class for this type of student for several reasons.
It is certainly unnecessary to remind you about preparing a special program for the vacation days, which must be arranged in advance. As my revered father-in-law said: "Az vi men shtelt zich avek azoi geit dos" (As one sets oneself up, so it goes), and this applies as well to conduct during vacation. In Kfar Chabad, for several reasons, it is appropriate that vacation should only mean a minimal reduction in studies—nothing more—as has been the custom of Israel from time immemorial. If such conduct is worthwhile in all cities and settlements, how much more so in a community of Anash.
