... בודאי מותר לעוררו עוה"פ במה שנדבר אתו בנוגע לאפריקה לפני שנתים, שכדאי לחפש ספרים בלתי מצויים או גם כתבי יד המתגלגלים אצל יורשים או גם בבתי כנסיות כאבן שאין לו הופכים, ולשלחם לכאן. ובמקום הדרוש להחליף זה בספרי הוצאת קה"ת, שבזה גם תועלת נוספת שיהיו דברי חסידות עכ"פ סידור מחזור וכיו"ב בביהכ"נ פלוני או אצל איש פלוני, ות"ח מראש על הטרחה בזה.

It is certainly permissible to remind you again about what was discussed with you regarding Africa two years ago: that it is worthwhile to search for rare seforim or even manuscripts that are circulating among heirs or even in synagogues as neglected items, and to send them here. Where necessary, these can be exchanged for Kehot publications, which has the added benefit that words of Chassidus—at least a Siddur, Machzor, or the like—will be present in a particular synagogue or with a particular individual. Thank you in advance for your effort in this matter.
