במענה על מכתבו מיום הראשון. כבקשתו אזכירו על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע בהנוגע לפרנסתו ומצב העסק שלו, ויהי רצון שיבשר טוב בקרוב בזה.
בודאי למותר לעוררו אשר עצה היעוצה למנוע הקישויים בהרחבת הפרנסה, הוא, לכל לראש להרבות בצדקה, שעל זה אומר הקב"ה הזן ומפרנס לכל, ובחנוני נא בזאת, וכבר אמרו רז"ל שהנתינה של הקב"ה, הוא לא רק יברכך אלא גם וישמרך, שיהי' שמור מכל בכל וישתמש בה מתוך בריאות ושמחה, וככל שירבה בצדקה תתרבה ההצלחה...

In response to your letter from Sunday. As you requested, I will mention you at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal, regarding your livelihood and business situation. May it be G-d's will that you will soon share good news in this regard.
Certainly it is unnecessary to remind you that the tried advice to prevent difficulties in expanding one's livelihood is, first and foremost, to increase in charity. About this, the Holy One, blessed be He—who nourishes and sustains all—says: "Test Me now with this." Our Sages have already said that G-d's giving is not only "He will bless you," but also "and He will guard you," meaning it will be protected from all harm and used with health and joy. The more one increases in charity, the more success will increase...
