ובקשר עם תוכן אחד המכתבים, בו מדובר ע"ד ביבליוגרפיא לספרי ומאמרי חב"ד, אתענין לדעת אם עסק בזה או עכ"פ התענין בזה, ואם כן הוא, הנשאר מה ברשימותיו ותוכנם. ובודאי ראה החוברת "שערי חב"ד" למר הוברמן, תדפיס מספר היובל לזלמן שוקן[2].

It gave me great pleasure to receive regards from you through Harav etc. Moreinu HaRav Yosef Goldstein, shochet and bodek, and I asked him to convey my regards to you and your wife, along with wishes for all good in everything.
A warm and deeply felt thank you for your precious gift, the Letters of my father-in-law the Rebbe zatzal nishmaso b'gan eden zechuso yagen aleinu, and may your mind be at ease as mine is now at ease.
In connection with the content of one of the letters regarding a bibliography of Chabad books and articles, I am interested to know if you have worked on this or at least taken an interest in it; if so, what remains in your notes and what their content is.
Certainly you have seen the booklet "Shaarei Chabad" by Mr. Huberman, a reprint from the Jubilee Book for Zalman Schocken.
