במ"ש אודות רופא מומחה א"י שיש לו שם טוב גם בין בני ישראל, ושואל חוות דעתי - לא הבנתי מה הספק בזה, כי בעניני רפואה אין מבדילים בזה, ואומן לא מרעי אומנתו, וכמו שראינו במעשה בפועל אפילו מנשיאינו הק', ובפרט שכותב שהוא דתי. וישלח השי"ת דברו וייטיב מצב בריאותו ע"י איש פלוני וטיפולים פלוני.
וסגולה מיוחדת לימים האלו, שמתקרבים אנו לזמן מתן תורתנו שמביאה רפואה לעולם, וכמבואר בארוכה גם בשמו"ר, שכל ישראל היו בריאים ושלמים לקבלת התורה.

Your letter from the day of the hilulah of Rashbi was received, and in the meantime you have surely received my response to your previous letter.
Regarding what you wrote about a specialist doctor from Eretz Yisrael who has a good reputation even among Jews, and you ask my opinion—I do not understand what the doubt is here, because in matters of medicine there is no distinction, and an expert does not spoil his expertise. As we have seen in actual practice even among our holy leaders, especially since you write that he is religious.
May Hashem send His word and improve your health through this person and these treatments.
A special segulah for these days, as we approach the time of the giving of our Torah which brings healing to the world—as explained at length also in Shemos Rabbah—that all Israel were healthy and whole to receive the Torah.
With blessing—in the words of my father-in-law, the Rebbe—to receive the Torah with joy and inwardness.
