I received your letter some time ago, and it is surprising that since then I have not heard any news from you regarding your well-being—both materially and spiritually.

We are now in the days that connect redemption to redemption. The wondrous Rashi (and I know how much you cherish Rashi's language) on Taanis 29a, at the end of the page, s.v. Mishenichnas Adar: "These were days of miracles for Israel—Purim and Pesach." From here it is evident that they are considered as one unit. In fact, they are called by the name Adar, in which was born and shone forth the horn of the first and last redeemer—redemption from Egypt and as in 'As in the days when you left Egypt... I will show him wonders' (the future redemption). Since through fulfilling what was already accepted during the days of Purim in Adar—thereby nullifying the great protest against Torah—the inner aspect of a Jew's soul is united (which always remained faithful), as is known from Maharal based on Rambam (Laws of Divorce, end ch. 2), with the external aspect of the soul. This becomes a vessel for revealing the unity of what is hidden in Torah with its revealed part, and for uniting and revealing what is hidden in G‑d with what is revealed—this is the concept of complete and true redemption when 'all will know Me from their smallest to their greatest' (Shaar HaEmunah ch. 16 onward).
