Hanhalat Agudat Chabad asher b'Eretz HaKodesh tivadeh alayhem yichyu Shalom u'Vrachah!

I acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 23rd of Shevat, and surely in the meantime you have received my letter in response to your previous letters.

Two days ago I was visited by Mr. Yitzchak Korn, one of the main leaders of the Tnuat HaMoshavim, who told me about his past assistance regarding the village (Kefar Chabad), and he also promised for the future—as much as he is able and to the best of his ability. It would be appropriate for you to meet with him upon his return to Eretz HaKodesh, and during your conversation there will certainly be an opportunity for him to repeat his promises again; thus it will be easier to utilize them when needed.

This coming Motzaei Shabbat, the chairman of the Union of Rabbis of America, Rabbi David Hollander, and Rabbi Zvi Schechter will be flying from here to Eretz HaKodesh as representatives of the Union of Rabbis here (which is an association of Orthodox rabbis—most young American-born—numbering over five hundred members). According to their estimation they will stay in Eretz HaKodesh for about two weeks—to examine the state of religious affairs, bring hearts closer, etc. This is similar to last year's visit by the chairman (of this same Union). It is very proper—and they also requested this—that they visit the yeshivah in Lod, Kefar Chabad, and other Lubavitch institutions... In my estimation—even though I have not spoken about this—the vocational school (beit sefer lemelachah), especially since at present it is almost unique in Eretz HaKodesh, will find particular favor in their eyes.

Additionally, since they wish to meet with representatives of several parties and offices—and this will influence their attitude toward various matters and their general closeness to Lubavitch—it would be good for them to become acquainted with Mr. Shazar (even though I am writing him separately about this), and as much as possible they should also introduce these rabbis to some of the more right-wing circles. Of course, with their permission you may say that this introduction is being made at my request: "Even though I do not wish to influence their attitude toward the issues they will discuss with those circles, for several reasons it is good and necessary that they receive them warmly; over time I strongly hope that this will bring benefit both regarding religious matters in Eretz HaKodesh and religious matters in America." By "those circles" I mean even Neturei Karta, Rabbi Soloveitchik shlita, etc.

The above-mentioned rabbis have recorded Aguch's address in Tel Aviv. It is not worthwhile to wait until they seek you out... Since it will surely be easy for you to find out where they are staying, it is advisable that you contact them promptly.
