Shalom u'Vrachah!

In response to your letter from the 4th of Teves, as well as the telegram I received some days ago, I will mention everyone—each and every one of them—at the holy resting place of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, of blessed memory. Surely this will arouse abundant mercy from He Who guards Israel and neither slumbers nor sleeps, to protect them from all undesirable matters, G‑d forbid. Only goodness and kindness should be found by each one of them in revealed and apparent good.

The unity of the residents of the Kefar—may G‑d be upon them for life—as one person, will stand as a wall so that no undesirable matter, G‑d forbid, can penetrate there, whether in material or spiritual matters. All the more so based on what is written: 'Am echad u'safah achat l'kulam lo yibatzer meihem kol' ("One people with one language for all of them; nothing they plan will be withheld from them")—certainly when this unity is internal and stems from holiness, with added success flowing through our holy leaders of blessed memory.
