הנה נהניתי ממ"ש אודות ההתועדות, ואשר מדברים על ענינים של פועל, ובודאי גם על להבא יעשה כזה, וזוהי גם המענה לשאלתו שאינו יודע מה לעשות עוד בהנוגע לאלו שלא שמעו עד עתה ועומדים בעקשנות, שהעצה לזה הוא ריבוי אור, אלא שלאחרי פעטערסבורג נתלבש האור בכלים ואותיות ובמילא כשידברו עוד כ"פ הרי סו"ס הריבוי אור ידחה רוב החשך, ויתן השי"ת שיהי' זה בחסד וברחמים ובקרוב ממש.

In response to your letter and the pidyon nefesh from the Tenth of Teves fast—may it soon be transformed to joy and gladness. I was pleased with what you wrote about the farbrengen, that practical matters were discussed. Certainly in the future you will do likewise. This is also the answer to your question about what more can be done regarding those who have not yet listened and remain stubborn: the advice is to increase light. However, after Petersburg, the light became clothed in vessels and letters; therefore, when you speak several more times, in the end the increased light will push away most of the darkness. May Hashem grant that this happens with kindness and mercy and very soon.
