מאשר הנני קבלת מכתביו ממוצש"ק מקץ וויגש והקודמים לו, ואחכה להמשך בבשורות הטובות מהתפתחות בית הספר בהנהלתו הן בכמות כפשוטו, מספר תלמידים ותלמידות והן באיכות, היינו בגובה הלימוד ענינים דיראת שמים וקיום המצות.
ומ"ש שהמשתתפים עמו הם מתנגדים אמיתים, הרי ידוע שבזמן האחרון אין כבר מציאות כזו, ואין הדבר תלוי אלא בגישה המתאימה לפי רוחו של פלוני ופלונית, וכשיווכחו שאין הכוונה לבטל מציאותם (אראפרייסין דעם נאז) יקבל את הדברים מבלי חשד ובעין יפה, ואז חזקה לתעמולה שאינה חוזרת ריקם, ואחת ההוכחות בזה הוא מה שכותב שי"ט כסלו בלו בנעימים וחגגוה ברוב פאר, שבטח כוונתו שהי' זה בצירוף עם הנ"ל, והוכחה נוספת בזה, ומה הנהלת המקום שינתה יחסה לטוב, עאכו"כ אל הנמצאים בהד' אמות, אלא שכפתגם כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, צריך להסיר ענינים המפסיקים בין האמת שבהענין, ובין האמת שבנפש כל אלו שזכו לעבוד במוסד כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר, שגם השותפים שלו בכלל זה כמובן.
המחכה לבשו"ט בכל הנ"ל, ובפרט שכותב שתקופת חנוכה הוא זמן השינוים (לטובה) במספר תלמידי בית הספר וכו', בברכת הצלחה.

I acknowledge receipt of your letters from Motzaei Shabbos Kodesh Miketz and Vayigash, as well as those preceding them. I await further good news regarding the development of the school under your leadership, both in quantity—meaning the number of students—and in quality, meaning the level of study, matters of fear of Heaven, and observance of mitzvos.
Regarding your statement that those participating with you are real misnagdim (opponents), it is well known that in recent times such a reality no longer exists. It all depends on the appropriate approach according to the temperament of each individual. When they see that there is no intention to negate their existence (to cut off their nose), they will accept things without suspicion and with a favorable eye. Then there is a strong presumption that outreach will not be in vain. One proof is what you write about Yud-Tes Kislev being celebrated pleasantly and with great splendor—surely you mean this was together with those mentioned above—which serves as further evidence. Additionally, the administration's attitude has changed for the better; how much more so for those within its immediate environment. However, as my father-in-law the Rebbe of blessed memory would say: one must remove obstacles between the truth of the matter and the truth within the soul of all those privileged to work in the institution of my father-in-law the Rebbe—including his partners, obviously.
I await good news regarding all of the above, especially since you write that Chanukah is a time for positive changes in the number of students at the school, etc.
