In response to your letter from the 8th of Kislev, in which you write about your appointment by the administration of Yeshivas Toras Emes to be Mashgiach for Chassidus (and it is surprising that your letter on this matter was delayed so much). May it be the will of Hashem that you succeed in instilling in your students true fear of Heaven—that their inner selves match their outer appearance, so that not only their garments are those of a Yerushalmi (as explained in Chassidus in the discourse "U'Vau HaOvdim... HaNidachim... V'Hishtachavu..."), but also that within themselves there should be the concept of the holy mountain in Jerusalem, as explained there.

This should be in accordance with the intent of its true founders and administrators—our holy Nesi'im, may the memory of the righteous and holy be a blessing for life in the World to Come. And since the measure of the Holy One, blessed be He, is measure for measure, through "V'shinantam l'vanecha" (And you shall teach them diligently to your children)—these are the students—one will merit fulfillment of the commandment "to your children" literally—actual children.

Certainly you have utilized the days of the month of Kislev—which is the month of redemption—and especially Yud and Yud-Tes Kislev—for chassidic gatherings and making good resolutions regarding practical daily life. Please inform me about this with appropriate details.
