Shalom u'Vrachah!

I hereby acknowledge receipt of your pan, which I will read at an auspicious time at the holy Tziyun of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal.

Certainly everyone will gather together on the bright day of Yud Tes Kislev, the Festival of Redemption, and as my revered teacher the Rebbe (the Rashab) of blessed memory called it: "the day of our redemption and the liberation of our soul." May this be continued into the upcoming days of Chanukah as well. These are connected to each other, for both the accusation and redemption were about revealing and spreading the light of Torah outward; likewise, the miracle of Chanukah and its candles were specifically with pure olive oil that was crushed for illumination—as explained in the discourse Tetzaveh regarding the precise wording "for illumination."

May Hashem grant that each one of us fulfills his role in spreading forth the wellsprings outward. This is a preparation and introduction to merit—together with all Israel—the complete and true redemption through Moshiach Tzidkeinu.
