אויך האט מיר געפרייט צו לייענען אז די געשעפטן האבן זיך פארבעסערט. לויט מאמר רז"ל (ב"ב יב, ב) אז כל המטיבין לי' איז דאס אויף א לאנגע צייט, זאל דער אויבערשטער העלפן אז אייערע געשעפטן זאלן גיין פון גוט צו בעסערס לאריכות ימים, סיי בגשמיות סיי ברוחניות.
איר דארפט זיך ניט איילן אומצוקערן געלט וואס כ'האב אייך געליען פון דער קופה פון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, דערפאר וואס כ'האף אז עס וועט אייך ברענגען ברכה והצלחה.
בנוגע לשאלתו וועגן זיין אויפן ציון פון אייער פאטער ז"ל בתוך י"ב חודש, איז בכלל הענגט עס אפ במנהג המקום, דערפאר וואס עס זיינען פאראן ערטער וואו מ'טוט עס ניט בתוך י"ב חודש. אויב אבער עס איז ניטא א מנהג קבוע, ובפרט אז עס האנדלט זיך בימי אלול ותשרי ימי רצון, מאכט ניט אויס אז איר זאלט יא גיין.
מסתם ווייסט איר די מנהגים ווי מ'פירט זיך ווען מ'גייט אויפן בית החיים אויף קברי אבות, זיין אין וואסער בו ביום, טרינקען פארן גיין, אבער ניט עסן, וכו'.
בנוגע צו א תיקון וואס איר בעט און אויך א באווא[ר]עניש אויף להבא, איז די ערשטע זאך דארף מען אויפהערן טראכטן וועגן דעם ענין, ווארום דער טראכטן אליין ברענגט צו א מקרה בלתי טהור. בנוגע תיקון דארף מען מרבה זיין באותיות התורה והתפלה, זיין נזהר אין טבילת עזרא און געבן אויף צדקה בלי נדר אפטער און טאן אין א פאסנדן אופן בחינוך הכשר של בני ובנות ישראל. עס איז אויך א גלייכע זאך, אויב ס'איז שוין א לאנגע צייט ווי מ'האט בודק געווען די תפילין, זיי בודק צו זיין.
כ'האף צו הערן גוטע נייעס פון אייך בכל הנ"ל.
צום נייען יאר, הבא עלינו ועל כל ישראל לטובה ולברכה, שיק איך אייך און אייערע בני בית שיחיו מיין ברכה, ברכת כתיבה וחתימה טובה לשנה טובה ומתוקה בגו"ר.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
I received your letters from the 5th of Eikev and the 4th of Tetze, and I was pleased to read that your son, may he live, is already feeling well and presumably has already returned home at a good and successful time. I was also glad to read that your business has improved. According to our Sages (Bava Basra 12b) that "all who do good for him," it is for a long time; may the Alm-ghty help that your business should go from good to better for long days, both materially and spiritually.
You do not need to hurry to return the money I lent you from the fund of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal; because I hope it will bring you blessing and success.
Regarding your question about visiting your father's grave z"l within twelve months: in general this depends on local custom, as there are places where it is not done within twelve months. However, if there is no fixed custom—especially since these are the days of Elul and Tishrei, days of favor—it does not matter if you do go. Presumably you know the customs when visiting graves of ancestors: immersing in water that day, drinking before going but not eating, etc.
Regarding a rectification (tikkun) you request and also protection for the future: first of all one must stop thinking about this matter because thinking alone brings about an impure occurrence. For tikkun one should increase in letters of Torah and prayer, be careful with immersion according to Ezra's ordinance, give charity without vow afterward, and act appropriately in educating Jewish boys and girls. It is also worthwhile—if it has been a long time since your tefillin were checked—to have them checked.
