במענה על מכתבו מעש"ק, בו כותב אשר קבל ע"ע בלי נדר לסדר במקום מגורו תלמוד תורה לילדים, ובודאי כוונתו לתלמוד תורה [ב]מובן המלה תורה האמיתית תורתנו הק'.
הנה יה"ר מהשי"ת שיצליח בזה ויראה פרי טוב בעמלו, וע"פ פסק רבוה"ק שמדתו של הקב"ה מדה כנגד מדה ימשיך את הסייעתא דשמיא שהוא וזוגתו שיחיו יחנכו ויגדלו את ילידיהם שיחיו לתורה ולחופה ולמעשים טובים.
וכיון שלכל דבר וענין צריך סייעתא דשמיא ובפרט בארץ אשר עיני ה' אלקיך בה מראשית השנה ועד אחרית שנה ובמילא האחריות יותר גדולה, והרי אין ביד בן אדם לתבוע כי אם לבקש מהשי"ת בתורת חסד חנם, צריך להרבות בצדקה וחסד גם למטה שאז מרבין בצדקה וחסד מלמעלה, ולכן נכון שבכל יום חול יפריש קודם התפלה איזה פרוטות לצדקה ולאחר התפלה בכל יום יאמר איזה קאפיטלעך תהלים, ובדורנו זה דרא דעקבתא דמשיחא מצוה וזכות לקבוע שיעור לימוד בפנימיות התורה שנתגלתה ונתבארה בתורת החסידות. והשי"ת יצליחו בכל הנ"ל.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
In response to your letter from Erev Shabbat Kodesh, in which you write that you have accepted upon yourself (without a vow) to organize a Talmud Torah for children in your place of residence—and certainly you mean Talmud Torah in the true sense of the word, our holy Torah—may it be the will of Hashem that you succeed in this and see good fruit from your efforts. And according to the ruling of our holy Rebbes that the attribute of the Holy One is measure for measure, this will draw down heavenly assistance so that you and your wife will educate and raise your children to Torah, marriage, and good deeds.
Since every matter requires heavenly assistance—especially in the land about which it is said: 'the eyes of Hashem your G‑d are upon it from the beginning of the year to year's end'—the responsibility is even greater. And since a person cannot demand but only request from Hashem as an act of undeserved kindness, one must increase charity and kindness below; then there is increased charity and kindness from above. Therefore, it is proper that every weekday before prayer you set aside some coins for tzedakah, and after prayer each day recite some chapters of Tehillim. In our generation—the era preceding Mashiach—it is a mitzvah and merit to establish a regular study session in the inner dimension of Torah as revealed and explained in Chassidus. May Hashem grant you success in all the above.
