In response to your letter from Thursday of Parshas Re'eh: Thank you very much for your gift, the pictures of the students, and the summary about them. May it be G‑d's will that other institutions in the field of education will also act in this way.

I was especially pleased by what you wrote that during vacation time a significant number of students were accepted at your institution. Certainly there is hope that some of them will remain to study for the coming term. May it be G‑d's will that the success of the holy institution you merit to be involved with will continue to grow, and that you personally will succeed in your efforts in this area.

Regarding what you wrote about reading books: I have passed this on to the Melach office, and if they find something suitable they will correspond with you.

And in these days, as our master the Alter Rebbe writes in Likkutei Torah Parshas Re'eh page 32b: "From the King of kings, the Holy One blessed be He—anyone who wishes may go out to greet Him, and He receives everyone graciously and shows a smiling face to all," as it is written: "Ya'er Hashem Panav Eilecha" (May G‑d cause His face to shine upon you). Therefore may it be G‑d's will that there should be success both in general matters and in your personal affairs.
