I was pleased to receive your letter from the 15th of Tammuz in which you write about the farbrengens and their content... I also enjoyed hearing that more students have joined for the summer break and that the hope is already beginning to be fulfilled that some of them will remain to study in yeshivah. As I wrote to someone recently, one should apply a fortiori reasoning here: if with the efforts until now fruits are already visible, then certainly with even greater energy and strength the fruits will multiply many times over. In holiness, an increase in quantity ultimately brings an increase in quality as well. Certainly, there is much more to elaborate on this, but my above lines suffice to clarify my view. May it be G‑d's will that this continues in actual deed so that dozens of new students simply join—and this is not wondrous or unattainable.

On this occasion I will repeat again what I have already written and hinted at several times in this letter: Surely you know about the work done in Georgia when they began working with Sephardim in a new way etc., and over several years hundreds of Avrechim, young men, and also householders were added. Without a doubt there are still fruits and fruits of those fruits there until the end of the world (until ultimately concealment and hiding will end). You and all who assist you should look at your work with Moroccan boys similarly—that is, it depends on you to conquer all of Morocco and thereby also their brothers in Tunisia etc., making them students of the Baal Shem Tov and our Rebbe the Alter Rebbe by transforming tens of students currently with you into proper Chabad Chasidim. As a result, they will go on to influence others when they return home.

When you realize that in our generation you have it within your power to make three hundred thousand Jews into Chasidim of the Baal Shem Tov and our Rebbe the Alter Rebbe, it is certain that not only will your enthusiasm and effort increase but also your intellect and creativity for how to bring this from potential into actuality. Especially since it appears difficult to transform them as desired when they are close to their parents; rather, when they are away from home—as experience shows—it is easier. Therefore, you should strive to increase the number of students coming from Morocco. The main thing is that within a short time you bring them to shine with the light of Chasidus and instill within them the necessary enthusiasm that prepares a person to be an influencer among Sephardim with even greater strength due to their naturally warm disposition towards heartfelt matters—words that come from the heart.

I hope you will certainly find suitable words to elaborate on this matter so as to influence all the mashpi'im (spiritual mentors) and roshei yeshivah (heads of yeshivah) at Tomchei Temimim France so that together they act on this as emissaries of my father-in-law the Rebbe—may his merit protect us—and his father our Rebbe—of blessed memory—and then we can hope that soon hundreds and thousands more will join the ranks of Chabad Chasidim. The merit of many depends on them.
