איך בין געווען צופרידען צו באקומען א גרוס פון אייך און פון אייערע בני בית דורך אייער פרוי מרת... תחי' און דער עיקר בין איך צופרידען צו הערען אז איר האט זוכה געווען אז אייערע קינדער לערנען תורת ה' וועלכע ווערט אנגערופען תורת חיים און בריינגט אינהאלט לעבען אין דעם טעג טעגליכען לעבען, און אז די קינדער אייערע לערנען מיט חשק, און אויב אין אלע צייטען האבען עלטערען געדארפט זארגען אז זייערע קינדער זאלען לערנען תורת ה', איז אין א נאך פיל גרעסערער מאס און מיט מער התלהבות דארפען עלטערען טאן אין דעם אין אונזער צייט און ספעציעל אין ארצות הברית.
עס איז אויך זעלבסט פארשטענדליך אז וויבאלד השם יתברך פירט די וועלט און גיט אידען און אלע מענטשן בכלל דאס וואס זיי באדארפען, ווילע נאר ער ברוך הוא אליין איז דער הזן ומפרנס לכל, קען דאך ניט זיין אז דורך דעם וואס מען פירט זיך אויף ווי דער רצון הבורא איז, אט ווי דאס אז קינדער זאלען לערנען תורה זאל דאס זיין א שטער צו פרנסה, אין געגען טייל, ווען מען שטארקט זיך און מען פירט זיך ווי דער רצון הבורא איז, איז חאטש עס דוכט זיך אז דאס איז פארבונדען מיט שוועריגקייטען, איז מען זוכה אז עס ווערט מקוים די הבטחה פון השי"ת אם בחקותי תלכו (איז רש"י מפרש שתהיו עמלים בתורה, אז תורה לערנען קומט דורך הארעוואניע, איז דענסטמאל) ונתנה הארץ יבולה גו' אז הקב"ה גיט פרנסה ביותר הרחבה.
איך בין זיכער אז אט די שורות וועלן גענוגענד זיין אויף אריינצובריינגען אין אייך א צוגאב אין אייער בטחון בהשם יתברך און א צוגאב אין אייער ווילען צו מחנך זיין אייערע קינדער און שטארקען זיי אין זייער לערנען תורה און השי"ת זאל העלפען אז דאס זאל זיין מיט גוטען געזונט און גוטע פרנסה.

I was pleased to receive regards from you and your household through your wife Mrs.... may she live. Most importantly, I am pleased to hear that you have merited that your children are learning the Torah of Hashem—which is called the Torah of Life and brings content and vitality into daily living—and that your children are learning with enthusiasm. If at all times parents needed to ensure their children learn the Torah of Hashem, then all the more so in our era and especially in the United States, parents must do so with even greater effort and enthusiasm.
It is self-evident that since Hashem Yisbarach runs the world and gives Jews—and all people in general—what they need, for only He, blessed be He alone, is the One Who sustains and provides for all, it cannot be that by acting according to the Creator's will—for example, ensuring that children learn Torah—this would be an obstacle to livelihood. On the contrary: when one strengthens oneself and acts according to the Creator's will—even if it seems connected with difficulties—one merits fulfillment of Hashem's promise: Im Bechukosai Telechu (as Rashi explains: "that you should labor in Torah," meaning Torah study comes through toil), then Venatnah HaAretz Yevulah ("the land will yield its produce")—that Hashem gives livelihood with even greater abundance.
I am certain that these lines will suffice to increase your trust in Hashem Yisbarach and add to your desire to educate your children and strengthen them in their Torah study. May Hashem help that this should be with good health and good livelihood.
Summary
Trusting in Hashem means knowing that fulfilling His directives—especially regarding children's Torah education—brings true blessing and does not hinder livelihood. Strengthening faith leads to increased success both spiritually and materially.
