I hope that your return journey was pleasant and successful. As is customary for anyone returning home from a long and active trip, one reflects on all that occurred and their actions during the days of travel. I hope that you are satisfied with your overall experience and particularly with your visit to New York.

Most importantly, as the saying of my father-in-law the Rebbe zatzal goes: this kind of spiritual satisfaction is not the type that leads to 'patshavat na lovorach' (resting on one's laurels), but rather it awakens the desire and appetite for further action with even more strength and energy. The lesson is clear: if until now your efforts—though they involved beginnings which are always difficult—have nonetheless been successful, then certainly if you increase your efforts you will achieve even greater success many times over.

Surely there is no need to remind you again about assisting in all our matters—Chabad matters—which are truly matters concerning all of Israel and are already close to your heart regardless. I mention this only to fulfill our Sages' teaching: "We only urge those who are already eager," especially in these coming days—days of gathering and auspicious times in honor of the Festival of Redemption of my father-in-law the Rebbe (12-13 Tammuz)—which are particularly suited for spiritual awakening and drawing down blessing and success from the celebrant himself; may his merit protect us.
