On this occasion, allow me to arouse—based on our Sages' saying that one only urges the already diligent—that as our master the Alter Rebbe, author of Tanya and Shulchan Aruch (Iggeres HaKodesh beginning of Siman 26), wrote: In these last generations it is permitted and a mitzvah to reveal this wisdom (meaning the inner dimension of Torah). Therefore, one whom Hashem has granted influence over a circle among our Jewish brethren should certainly use this influence also to inform them about the ruling of the Arizal as above and to encourage them about this from time to time. Especially in our current era of doubled and redoubled darkness and in Eretz HaKodesh, upon which the eyes of Hashem are from the beginning of the year until its end, the necessity for this is many times greater. It is already known—the ruling of the Heavenly Court transmitted by my father-in-law's father, the Mitteler Rebbe son of our master the Alter Rebbe—that those who strive in this will succeed, and despite concealments and obstacles their efforts will prevail...
