זה מזמן שלא הגיעו ממנו ידיעות וכנראה שגם הרה"ח הוו"ח אי"א נו"נ עוסק בצ"צ מוה"ר בן ציון שי' שם טוב המתארח עתה פה ג"כ אינו יודע ברורות, ובמילא אחכה אשר בעצמו יבשר טוב... והרי זה מהמצות שמצוה בו יותר מבשלוחו כיון שמפני אהבת ישראל הרי גם בזה ענין של מצוה.
מוסג"פ העתק מכתבי כללי בקשר עם יום הבהיר גאולתנו ופדות נפשנו הוא חג י"ט כסלו העבר, שתוכנו כל השנה זמנו הוא, אשר בטח יעניין את כת"ר שי'.

במה ששואל חוות דעתי אם להשתתף בספר וויטעבסק שיו"ל באה"ק ת"ו הנה ידוע השקפת כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, שכיון שע"פ תורת הבעש"ט כל פרט ופרט הוא בהשגחה פרטית אפילו בדומם צומח חי ועאכו"כ במין המדבר ובני ישראל ביחוד (וידוע מה שהכריע זה רבינו הזקן בעל השמחה ממרז"ל חולין ס"ג ע"א עה"פ משפטיך כו') הרי צריך לחפש בכל פרט וענין עבודת השם מתאים לההוראה דבכל דרכיך דעהו, וע"י השתפות בהנ"ל בטח יוכל לשלב במאמרו ענינים המעוררים לתורה ויהדות ברוח ישראל סבא ובמילא נכון הדבר.

It has been a while since I have received any news from you, and apparently also Haraha"ch vavac"h iy"a nu"n oseik b'tzt"z Moreinu HaRav Ben Tzion Shem Tov, who is currently staying here as a guest, also does not know anything definite. Therefore, I will wait for you to personally share good news... And this is one of those mitzvos where it is more appropriate to do it oneself than through an agent, since due to Ahavas Yisrael there is also an aspect of mitzvah here.

Regarding your question about my opinion on participating in the Vitebsk book being published in Eretz HaKodesh—It is well known what the outlook of my revered father-in-law the Rebbe zatzal was: since according to the teachings of the Baal Shem Tov every single detail occurs by Divine Providence—even among inanimate objects, plants, animals—and certainly among humans and especially among Jews (and it is known what our master the Alter Rebbe decided from our sages on Chullin 63a on the verse 'Mishpatecha' etc.), therefore one must seek in every detail and matter how it serves Avodas Hashem according to the directive 'In all your ways know Him.' Through participating as above you will surely be able to incorporate into your article matters that inspire Torah and Judaism in the spirit of Israel Saba, and therefore it is proper to do so.

The Rebbe encourages seeking G‑dliness in every detail and recommends participating in projects that inspire Torah and Jewish life. Direct involvement and sharing positive news are valued as mitzvos rooted in Ahavas Yisrael.
