בעתו קבלתי מכתבו מג' כסלו, ואחכה לבשו"ט מבריאות זוגתו הרבנית תחי', והרי חדש כסלו מסוגל לזה כי אף הם היו באותו הנס ובפרט לפירוש הרשב"ם (פסחים ק"ח ע"ב) והרי ידוע פי' האריז"ל על הפסוק והימים האלה נזכרים ונעשים, שכשהם נזכרים למטה הרי נעשים כל ההשפעות למעלה ונמשכות גם למטה.

I received your letter from the 3rd of Kislev in due time, and I await good news regarding your wife's health. The month of Kislev is auspicious for this, since women too were included in that miracle—especially according to the Rashbam's explanation (Pesachim 108b). It is well known what the Arizal explains on the verse 'VeHayamim HaEileh Nizkarim VeNaasim' ("And these days are remembered and performed")—that when they are remembered below, all influences are activated above and drawn down below as well.
