Shalom u'Vrachah!

...Regarding your dispute, it is self-evident that I have never instructed anyone to dismiss a Jew along with his family from their home. That is not my role. However, I do not agree with this entire approach—not with your refusal of the position that was offered to you, even though it comes with a smaller salary, nor with making such an uproar about the Din Torah (rabbinical court case)...

Whether you will benefit from this is doubtful, as with any Din Torah—one never knows the outcome in advance... Another point is that one must think about livelihood and not about fulfilling an ambition. Any yeshivah or institution that hears about this commotion—I do not believe they will be eager to offer you a position if they know you hold that you cannot be dismissed from your post...

Summary

The Rebbe teaches that disputes should be approached thoughtfully, prioritizing practical concerns like livelihood over personal ambition or public conflict. Escalating disagreements can harm future opportunities and should be handled with care and humility.
