... אקוה אשר המברק שלי בקשר עם יום ההילולא של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע נתקבל במועדו, ובטח התועדו במסיבת רעים וע"פ מרז"ל גדולה לגימה שמקרבת כו' ומשרה שכינה (סנהדרין קג, סוף ע"ב) על כו'[2] הרי להבדיל עאכו"כ כשעשרה מישראל מתקבצים, שבלאה"כ בקבוצם לחוד שכינתא שריא אם אפילו אינם עושים מאומה (אגה"ק סי' כ"ג. ועיין ג"כ קרבן העדה בירושלמי ערובין פ"א הלכה [יו"ד]) , ובפרט כשגם נשמע דברי תורה, הרי מובטחני שההחלטות הטובות נמשכות בפועל בענינים דמחשבה דיבור ומעשה.

I hope that my telegram regarding the yahrzeit of the Previous Rebbe was received on time. Surely you gathered with friends for a farbrengen and as our Sages say: "Gedolah Legimah Shemekarevet... U'Mashreh Shechinah" (Sanhedrin 103b, end) — a meal brings people together and brings down the Shechinah (Divine Presence). All the more so when ten Jews gather; even if they do nothing else, the Shechinah rests among them (see Iggeres HaKodesh sec. 23 and also Korban HaEidah on Yerushalmi Eruvin ch.1 halachah [10d]).
Especially when words of Torah are heard as well, I am confident that the good resolutions made will be carried out in thought, speech, and action.
Enclosed is the kuntres published in connection with the days near this yahrzeit. It contains a maamar to which the Previous Rebbe showed special affection, as he wrote in his letter printed at the beginning of the kuntres.
