מיט פארגעניגען האב איך באקומען אייער בריף פון סוף חשון אין וועלכען איר שרייבט וועגן דעם תפילין קלוב, וואס די גרויסקייט פון דעם ענין, קען מען ניט משער זיין. דאס וואס עס דאכט זיך אייך אז דאס איז א קלייניגקייט, איז דאס פון עצת היצר, און ווי באוואוסט דער מאמר רז"ל כל המקיים נפש אחת מישראל כאילו קיים עולם מלא. מיר דאכט זיך אז איך האב שוין אמאל געשריבען אייך, צו אריינטראכטען זיך אין דעם וואס עס שטייט אין תניא פרק כ"ה, ויחוד זה למעלה או נצחי לעולם ועד כי הוא ית' ורצונו למעלה מהזמן וכן גילוי רצונו שבדבורו שהיא התורה הוא נצחי וכמ"ש ודבר א' יקום לעולם ודבריו חיים וקיימים כו' - ואקוה שזה יתן לו כח וחיות לראות לפעול כל מה שיכול...

With pleasure I received your letter from the end of Cheshvan in which you write about the Tefillin Club, whose greatness cannot be measured. The thought that this is a small matter comes from the advice of the yetzer (evil inclination), as is well known from our Sages: 'Whoever sustains one Jewish soul is as if he sustained an entire world.' It seems to me that I have already written to you to contemplate what is stated in Tanya chapter 25: 'And this unity above is eternal forever and ever, for He and His will are above time; likewise, the revelation of His will in His speech, which is Torah, is eternal, as it is written: "And one thing stands forever," and His words are living and enduring,' etc. I hope this will give him strength and vitality to see to accomplish all that he can...
