In response to your urgent letter—which was received after some delay—in which you write about the health situation of your daughter... may she live.

One must be strong in their bitachon in Hashem, for without any doubt Hashem will help and everything will be as it should. Now that it is the month of Kislev, the Chassidic month, during the days of Chanukah when the small jar of oil sealed with the seal of the Kohen Gadol—the Rebbe of that generation—prevailed, and after several years the Alter Rebbe prevailed along with all Chassidim and will continue to do so until the coming of Moshiach and even afterwards. Therefore, this is a redemption also in a literal physical sense—to draw down health for each person as needed.

It is self-understood that one must listen to the doctor's instructions and act accordingly, but one should completely remove any melancholy. Then one will see with their own eyes that there is reason to be satisfied and joyful.

Enclosed is the kuntres just now published; surely you will use it to benefit many.

With blessings for the festival of redemption of the Mitteler Rebbe and with blessings for the redemption of the Alter Rebbe which will soon occur in these coming days, and regards to all Anash may they live.
