דעם פרינטער מוז איך געבן געלט ניט שפעטער ווי די נאך שבת'דיקע וואך, אויב ער זאל חלילה ניט אפשטעלן די ארבעט אויפ'ן "שדי חמד". בין איך זיכער, אז איר וועט בעזהש"י טאן אלעס כדי אז דער טשעק זאל קענען איינקאסירט ווערן דא ניט שפעטער ווי די נאך שבת'דיקע וואך.
אין מיין בריוו צו ידידנו מר ראבינסאן שי' האב איך ניט געוועלט מאריך זיין מיט דעם מאמר חז"ל עשר תעשר, אבער איך האף אז איר וועט בא א געלעגנהייט אפלערנען מיט עם דעם מאמר והריקותי לכם ברכה אין דעם אידישן ספר המאמרים, דף 94, דאס זאל האבן א פעולה בפועל.

Enclosed is my letter to our friend, the havavach etc. Mahari Robinson. I must pay the printer no later than the week after Shabbos, so that he should not, G‑d forbid, stop working on the "Shdei Chemed." I am certain that with G‑d's help you will do everything possible so that the check can be cashed here no later than the week after Shabbos.
In my letter to our friend Mr. Robinson, I did not want to elaborate on the saying of our Sages "Aser Ta'aser" (You shall surely tithe), but I hope that you will take an opportunity to study with him the saying "VeHarikosi Lachem Bracha" (And I will pour out for you a blessing) in the Yiddish Sefer HaMaamarim, page 94, so that it will have a practical effect.
