על של עתה באתי להסג"פ הקונטרס לחה"ש, שהביאו זה עתה מהכריכה, ובל"ס יזכה בו את הרבים באופן היותר מתאים. וידוע מרז"ל (דברים רבה פז, ח) שאלו היו ישראל חסרים אפילו אדם אחד אף שהאחד הי' היותר פחות מהם (עיי"ש במדרש במאמר הקודם), לא היתה נגלית השכינה במתן תורה.
ובפרט שמי שהוא זה מאתנו אשר בא בסוד הוי' לידע מה שבלבו של חברו וגדולת ומעלת נפשו ורוחו בשרשן ומקורן באלקים חיים.
והנותן לנו תורת חיים יזכנו לקבל התורה בשמחה ובפנימיות.

I am now sending you the Kuntras for Chag HaShavuos, which has just arrived from the binder, and without a doubt you will merit to benefit the public with it in the most fitting manner.
It is well known from our Sages (Devarim Rabbah 87:8) that if Israel had been missing even one person—even if that one was the least among them (see there in the Midrash in the previous statement)—the Divine Presence would not have been revealed at Matan Torah. Especially since who among us can enter into the counsel of Hashem to know what is in his fellow's heart and the greatness and loftiness of his soul and spirit in their source and root in the living G‑d.
May He Who gives us a Torah of life merit us to receive the Torah with joy and inwardness.
