מוסג"פ קונטרס החלצו שזה עתה הו"ל והוא לזכות בו את הרבים כן שתי חוברות קטנות שנדפסו בעת המלחמה בשביל החיילים ויודיע חוו"ד אם מתאימים לכוונתו ובאם הן, כמה מהם לשלח לו.
ת"ח בעד הפ"ש לאחי שי' ובבקשה רבה באשר דואג אני לשלומו ושלום ב"ב שי', לראותו ולמסור לו פ"ש ממני [...] ובטחוני שימלא בקשתי כמו בפעם האחרונה ת"ח נתונה למפרע.
על השאלה בדבר הרח"א שי' נאה צריך לתת לו מהמל"ח נ' שקל בטח קיים הבטחתו ויראה שהר"מ אקסלרוד שי' ישלח לכ"ק מו"ח אד"ש ישר או על ידי הערות הרש"ג בנוגע לתניא ואולי באפשרי להשיג ג"כ הערות הר"ז האולין ז"ל שנמצא כמש"כ לי הרח"ה שי' האוולין אצל אחיו שבת"א. כן מהנמצא אצל הרב זיסלין שי'.
בפ"ע נשלח לו ס' קיצורים והערות לתניא ובסופו נמצאת רשימת מה שהו"ל.
ובשל עתה אסיים ועד הישיבות דשיקאגא כתב לרבנים באה"ק ע"ד חלוקת עזרתם להישיבות באה"ק ועליכם להתראות עם הרש"י שי' זעווין ולטכס עצה. קרוב לודאי שיבקרו באה"ק ב"כ הועד הנ"ל ואפשר שגם הר"ש שי' פאלמער יהי' מהם.

Enclosed is the kuntres "Heilatzhu," which has just been published and is intended to bring merit to the public. Also enclosed are two small booklets that were printed during the war for the soldiers; please let me know your opinion if they fit your intention, and if so, how many should be sent to you.

Regarding the question about Harach"a: it is proper to give him from the Melach fifty shekel. Surely you have fulfilled your promise. See that R. M. Axelrod sends directly or via Rasha"g's notes concerning Tanya to the Rebbe Rayatz. Perhaps it is possible also to obtain comments from R. Z. Aulin z"l (as Harach"e wrote me) who is with his brother in Tel Aviv, as well as what is found by Rabbi Zislin.
Separately, a copy of "Kitzurim v'He'aros l'Tanya" is being sent to you; at its end there is a list of what has been published.
For now I will conclude. The Vaad HaYeshivos of Chicago wrote to rabbis in Eretz Yisrael regarding distributing their support among yeshivos there; you should meet with Rashi Zawwin and strategize together. It is likely that representatives of this Vaad will visit Eretz Yisrael soon, possibly including R. S. Palmer among them.
