ימלא השי"ת כל משאלותיו לטובה, ובמיוחד קבלת נחת אמיתית מהילדים במידה מלאה, כולל זה שכל אחד מהם וכל אחד מאתנו יחי' את חיי היום יום בשמירת מסורת עמנו, ולעשות כל זה מתוך שמחה ומתוך התעוררות, תוך הכרה והודאה להשי"ת על שנתן לנו את התורה, שהיא מורה את דרך החיים עבור כל אחד, ולא רק במקרים מיוחדים כמו יום כיפור וכיו"ב, אלא בחיי היום יום, בהתאם לדברי החכם מכל אדם – נר מצוה ותורה

מובן מעצמו, שכל הכתוב לעיל מתייחס גם לילדיו, ובפרט שהם הגיעו לארץ הנקראת ע"י כל העמים בשם "ארץ הקודש", בתחילת חייהם העצמאיים.

I acknowledge receipt of your letter.
May Hashem fulfill all your wishes for good, especially that you receive true nachas from your children in full measure. This includes that each of them—and each of us—should live daily life observing our people's tradition, doing all this with joy and inspiration, with recognition and thanks to Hashem for giving us the Torah, which guides the path of life for everyone—not only on special occasions like Yom Kippur and similar times, but in daily life as well, in accordance with the words of the wisest of men: Ner Mitzvah v'Torah Or ("A mitzvah is a lamp and Torah is light").
It is self-evident that everything written above also applies to your children—especially as they have arrived in the land called by all nations Eretz HaKodesh (the Holy Land), at the beginning of their independent lives.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that Torah is a guide for everyday living, not just special occasions. Raising children to embrace tradition with joy and gratitude is especially important when starting new chapters in Eretz HaKodesh.
